A group of business owners with diverse skill sets coming together to share stories of starting their businesses, as well as their successes and challenges, all in hopes of imparting knowledge and inspiration, and a chance to feel connected with others. Our podcast features a panel of six, charismatic women: an accountant, a lawyer, two grant specialists (tax credits and government grants), a risk and finance consultant, and a marketing expert. Our virtual fireside-chat style is casual, yet informative, while we address a wide range of topics and questions from entrepreneurs who don’t know where to turn to for direction. Drawing from our real-world experiences in the often daunting world of entrepreneurship, we provide resources and advice for business owners. Katie and Claire were the first entrepreneurs we had on the podcast.
These talented young ladies are the owners and founders of Friendly Composting, a weekly compost pick up and local product delivery located in beautiful, Kamloops BC!
They started their new company at the beginning of the initial COVID-19 shut down and when we first spoke to them, they had a lot of questions for all of us concerning financing, structure, growth, marketing, insurance, purchasing and more.
Peggy was excited to get an update from these passionate, intelligent, and driven entrepreneurs - and the whole team is delighted to share this podcast with all of you.
